Eskenazi Health Hospital

The new $754,000,000 replacement hospital is being constructed on a 37 acre site and includes an ambulatory care facility and office building.
The project will provide an on-site 9,000 ton chilled water and 2,400 boiler HP steam boiler central plant and a 12.5 MW emergency power plant for the 1,200,000 SF hospital and ambulatory care facility. This project is being submitted for LEED Silver Certification.
BCCLT, Inc. provided early site and facility studies for comparative costs for development. BCCLT, Inc. was the lead engineer for the site development, and for the central utilities sources that are distributed to the various facilities through a utility tunnel system. Project is constructed on land formerly part of IUPUI Campus. Site prep work included reroute of 13.8 KV electric service and HP steam serving IUPUI facilities and the adjoining VA Hospital. Reroute also included storm, sanitary, domestic water and communications systems.
