Richard D. Long, HFDP, CPD, GPD, CxA

Richard earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Kentucky University in 1982. He joined BCCLT in 2001 and is professionally affiliated with the American Council of Engineering Companies, ASHRAE Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP) and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. He is also Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD), Green Plumbing Design (GPD) and is a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA).

Richard is responsible for mechanical engineering leadership with a specific focus on plumbing system design. He plays a continued role in construction documents development and inter-discipline coordination. He is also a Certified Commissioning Authority responsible for the evaluation of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems.

Richard loves the opportunity to get to see visions come to life.

During the spring, summer and fall, Richard enjoys fishing and boating, and during the winter months, he enjoys bowling and catching up on movies.
